And in a similar clip, a quad carrying two people runs past with its front wheels in the air.

A police vehicle appears to be pursuing the quad, immediately following it before disappearing out of sight.

The images were posted by social media accounts linked to car enthusiast group Lanarkshire Outlawz.

The petrolheads – who have been dubbed “reckless” because of their dangerous and reckless stunts – are known to hold regular meetings in the parking lot of Hamilton’s mall.

Officers were notified of the incident on Sunday May 22 and have since issued a message of reassurance to residents regarding the anti-social behavior.

Hamilton Police Office Inspector Paul Doyle told Lanarkshire Live: ‘We have been made aware of anti-social behavior involving the use of quad bikes at Palace Grounds Retail Park in Hamilton on the evening of Sunday May 22.

“Officers were present and the group dispersed.

“We are aware of the impact of anti-social behavior of this nature on the local community and we regularly patrol Hamilton to deter incidents and reassure the community.

“Where violations are identified, officers will take appropriate action. Anyone concerned about anti-social behavior can contact the police on 101.”

This is not the first time the Lanarkshire Outlawz have been at the center of controversy.

We told you in January how a video of band members performing a snowdrift stunt was blown up, after motorists were filmed skidding near onlookers.

Police have hit out on the reckless car enthusiasts after footage of them drifting at high speed through the snow surfaced on social media.

The Lanarkshire Outlawz group posted the video on social media, showing drivers skidding dangerously through the streets of East Kilbride.

It took place in the industrial area of Kelvin during the bad weather that hit the town earlier this year.

The video was posted to the group’s TikTok account and has been viewed over 3,200 times.

In the clip, a large crowd of people could be seen gathering in Carron Place to watch motorists drift through the freezing conditions.
