“We are very grateful to everyone who participated in this special event and for their generosity. Whether it’s sponsoring the tournament, donating raffle prizes, volunteering or contributing individually, all of our sponsors and attendees were eager to support these two amazing nonprofits,” said Payman Farokhyar, Chairman of Total Western. “When it came to the disco theme, people gave it their all – we were so impressed! The wit and creativity gave the event a fun and energetic vibe, which is what we hoped to give off.”

Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization that has become one of the largest and most effective conservation organizations in the world. It provides boots on the ground to help clean up and protect oceans and beaches so coastal communities and local wildlife can thrive.
“Being honored alongside the American Cancer Society at this event was even more special and significant for our Chapter as we recently lost our longtime leader and mentor, Tony Soriano, to cancer,” said KC Fockler, Surfrider Huntington/Seal Beach Chapter Co-Chair. “Tony was a pioneer, spokesperson and active conservationist for Surfrider whose leadership will be sorely missed. We are grateful to have been part of this fantastic event so that we could honor him and others facing cancer.”
