Brooke Ha, Senior Grants Specialist in the Research and Innovation Division, received the “Future of the Field” award from the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI).

“We are thrilled to have Brooke receive this globally recognized award,” said Julie Swaringim-Griffin, Associate Director of Pre-Award Sponsored Programs. “This is a true testament to his hard work and dedication. We are happy to have him as a Senior Grants Specialist on the pre-award team. Congratulations Brooke!”

The recognition program highlights newcomers to research administration who demonstrate leadership among their peers and institutions in innovative ways that advance the field.

Ha was selected by a committee of peer research administrators, after the program received more than 100 nominations from around the world. Nominations were evaluated based on applicants’ career history, demonstration of exceptional professional growth, and significant contributions to the advancement of research administration.

“The individuals recognized by Future of the Field are some of the best and brightest in our profession,” said Debra Schaller-Demers, President of SRAI. “These are the next generation pioneers who will drive innovation in research administration in the years to come!”

Winners of “Future of the Field” will be officially recognized at SRAI’s annual meeting in November in Las Vegas.
